Think about the Trump hacks, the Kylie Jenner rumors, fake AI cats, and all the absurd runners we've watched over the years.
A coin starts moving. People who ignored it at 20K suddenly want in at 2M.
They've seen what happens when a joke turns into a multimillion-dollar chart without them.
And tomorrow, they'll be doing it all over again.
FOMO doesn't need a particular celebrity, animal, or narrative. As long as there's another runner, someone will be afraid of missing it.
